               HOW TO MANAGE STRESS

   Now a days this word 'STRESS' is being very common , which is nothing new than a natural human response to address challenges . It is a feeling of tension either it's emotional or physical . When we feel unable to control or manage things in some situation , the reaction we feel under pressure is called as STRESS. 

   

 

TYPES OF  STRESS 

Stress depending upon its types can be acute, episodic acute and chronic stress.

1. Acute Stress- It is known as short term . Generally , body and emotions come back to their normal state comparatively earlier .

2.Episodic Acute Stress- When acute stress happens on a regular basis . It often feels like we are back to back having some traumatic conditions .

3. Chronic Stress- It feels like never ending situation of tension . Factors of stress that continue for a long period of time.

SYMPTOMS OF STRESS

Stress can affect your health to the extreme which you might not even think of . It negatively impacts our body in the terms of-
 - Increase in heart rate
- Pupil dilation
- Excessive sweating 
- Anxiety
- Poor sleep pattern 
- Uncontrolled anger 
- Hypertension 
- Obesity 
- Panic Attacks 
- Emotional fatigue 
- Chronic headache

 STEPS TO MANAGE STRESS

1. Have Balanced Breakfast - Your breakfast bowl should always be king size with balanced amount of nutrients . Avoid sugary pastries , donuts, cereals ,breads. Avoid tea or coffee empty stomach as it contains caffeine which can lead to digestive issues .  Have more protein diet like soaked seeds and nuts , dairy products , eggs with carbohydrate , which is the main source of energy.

2. Increase Your Protein Intake - Have more dependency on protein diet as stressed out body has more demand of protein . Protein has blood sugar stabilizing effect . Include chicken, fish, meat, eggs, beans, pulses, lentils , dairy products .

3. Never Skip Your Meal- Small , regular meals keep you energetic throughout the day . Enjoy healthy snacks that can work as mood booster by decreasing your fatigue and irritability .

4. Avoid Emotional Eating- As in stressed condition we are unable to hold our emotions . In emotional phase over eating , eating random things just to get oneself relaxed make you feel bloated and uncomfortable . Avoid packaged food , high carbs diet to avoid health issues as well.

5. Increase Your Water Intake - Get an aim to drink 7-8 glasses of water daily whether it is filtered or infused . You can add on more flavor by adding fresh mint , lime, citrus fruits, cucumber in it to make it more beneficial that keeps you hydrated and fresh . Cut out your caffeine intake because it has dangerous effects in long term.

6. Have Adequate Sleep- To keep oneself stress free one need to be relaxed and have 7-8 hours of sound sleep.

7. Meditation Is All You Need- Make a regular routine to meditate at least for 15-20 minutes. This keeps your mind relaxed and concentrated and you will get more positivity for your work .

8. Fresh Air Is Must- Fresh air has countless benefits. Just take a break from your routine and get in touch with nature . Nature in itself freshen up your mind and calm you down . You can even opt for some regular gentle exercises like  walking bare feet on grass , some yoga poses that may increase jolly hormones from your adrenal gland .


               SOMETIMES IT IS ALL ABOUT  TO CHANGE YOUR MINDSET. DO NOT FOCUS ON THE THINGS THAT ARE BOTHERING  YOU . AVOID SILLY THINGS. DO NOT OVER THINK. TRY TO COPE UP WITH THE THINGS EARLIER . DO NOT FEEL PRESSURIZE. LIVE LIKE A FREE BIRD AND YOU WILL BE ENJOYING LIFE.
